Below are a selection of reviews from Tripadvisor and Airbnb.
Janette (July 2018) – Relaxing
Lovely bright sunny holiday home with everything you need and more. We thoroughly enjoyed our break here.
Matt (July 2018)
Excellent property – we enjoyed our stay. The owners are clearly passionate about the local area and provide lots of information and tips for good restaurants and places to visit. The property was clean and in good order. Plenty of useful items available for guests use.
Paula (June 2018)
This was our first Airbnb booking so we were a little unsure of what to expect, particularly as there were no previous reviews on Paul’s place. We needn’t have been concerned though as the house was just perfect for our needs.
It was clean, tidy, well presented and the bottle of wine which had been left in the fridge for us was very welcome after a long journey from Cheshire! The gardens were a great size for the kids to play in although the weather was cold and misty all week (when the rest of the UK was basking in hot sunshine!).
It was our first trip to Norfolk and we certainly didn’t see it as its best but Paul’s house was a great place to return to after days of exploring the area. Literally everything has been thought of, it’s very very well equipped and I really appreciated the little notes saying “help yourself to this if you’ve forgotten something”.
We always try and go well prepared on holidays but it’s nice that the owners have left things which can often be overlooked when you’re rushing to pack for your holiday. Overall we enjoyed our stay and I’d have absolutely no reservations about returning to Paul’s house. Next time though Paul, please arrange some sunshine for us! 🙂
Tracey (Jan 2017) – Lovely pet friendly bungalow
This bungalow was perfect for us as a group of six plus dog visiting family near by. Quiet location, Plenty of room for privacy if required and good size garden. Owners very helpful. Butchers, bakers & local shop within the village plus the lovely town/village of Holt a short drive away with a good selection of shops & cafes.
A drive to the beach (of which there are plenty to choose from) is a good day out or your can take the Steam Train from Holt to Sheringham. Would definitely stay here again if visiting as a large group
