We believe The Firs provides a perfect holiday base for those wishing
to experience the delights of
North Norfolk.
Children of all ages are welcome. A cot and highchair are available if
requested but please do bring your own cot linen. You will find toys, books
and children's videos in the bungalow, however there are numerous activities
suitable for young children such as seal trips, steam train rides & sandcastles
on the beach. Older children will love the
Muckleburgh collection,
crabbing on the quays and playing hide and seek in the sand dunes. For teenagers
there are good leisure facilities nearby such as swimming, cinema and ten-pin
bowling.
For those who wish to relax, there are local walks, excellent picnic
sites and many welcoming pubs with excellent food. For those who want
more an active break there are excellent opportunities from cycling to sailing
to kite surfing. Of course, the main attractions of this area is the
miles and miles of sandy beaches which never seem to get busy and the fantastic
bird watching.
The Firs is also suitable for less able people - there is only one-step
up into the bungalow (and this has grab rails) and most of the doors are
wide enough to take a wheelchair. For any specific requirements please do
not hesitate to contact us.
We also welcome well-behaved dogs but request they do not go into the bedrooms
- there’s plenty of other places for them to explore! The Firs is strictly
a no smoking property.
