Where do you start? There are so many diverse places and activities
to see and do that it is impossible to list them all but you can find details
on the many websites that cover the area (see
Useful Links).
If you have been to North Norfolk before you will be aware of what it
has to offer, but even for the those who have visited previously, there
is always something new to discover.
The coast of North Norfolk is famous for its miles of sandy beaches,
salt marshes with abundant wildlife and numerous coastal walks. Inland
there are picturesque English villages and towns which are perfect for window-shopping
or staying longer to sample the local fayre. There are many wonderful stately
homes to visit such as
Holkham Hall,
Blickling Hall and
Felbrigg Hall. The royal residence at
Sandringham
is open to visitors most of the year. Also worth noting are The Shell Museum,
Norfolk Lavender,
Letheringsett
Mill, Langham
Glass, Pensthorpe Waterfowl trust, The Wildflower Centre and the list
goes on!!
