Dogs Are Welcomed At Coastguard Cottage

Wells-next-the-Sea is very dog friendly

North Norfolk is a perfect destination if you have a dog. Nearly all the shops, pubs and restaurants in Wells welcome dogs so you don’t have to leave them at home when you go out.  Our black lab, Ella, loves it…have a look at some of the dog friendly signs.

Coastguard Cottage is pet friendly and safe

We offer pet friendly accommodation – we have an enclosed garden so you can put them out without having to worry that they will wander off.  There is even a small strip of grass.

Dog Spa provided

What accommodation could offer a dog spa? Ok, so maybe not a spa but if they have been out all day and have got a bit muddy or sandy then don’t worry, there is an outside tap with a hose to clean them off. If you have forgotten their towel, we always have a spare one.

Coastguard cottage is pet friendly indoors too

Downstairs is all floorboards so it’s easy to sweep up any stray hair.

We do have a small extra charge for dogs but that is purely to cover the extra cleaning costs and is much less than kennel fees.

The only things we ask is that:

  • You don’t allow your dogs on the furniture
  • You don’t allow your dogs upstairs – there is plenty of space for them to sleep downstairs
  • You clean up after them in the garden.
